The Cartograpgy of Control examines how power becomes visible through the organization of urban space. Focusing on the Wangjing area of Beijing, the project categorizes different places by function and analyzes how boundaries, access, movement, surveillance, and spatial control operate within each environment.

The findings were translated into a series of analytical maps. Architectural structures form the underlying spatial layer, while paths, restrictions, and power relationships are overlaid as a second information layer. The final maps were produced through screen printing, using physical overprinting to reinforce the layered relationship between space and power.
